Obituary of Peter J. Surette

Surrounded by his family Peter Joseph Surette passed away peacefully on Saturday June 11, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born February 10, 1919 he was the son of the late Narcise and Jane (Deroche) Surette. Peter will be sadly missed by loving wife Alma (Roy) Surette; sons Lenny (Teena), Leo (Sherri), David, Larry (Traci), Carl; daughters Helen Surette and Rita (Andrew) Galluchon all of Saint John, NB; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents and siblings Peter was predeceased by daughter-in-law Angela Surette. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with Peter’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at a later date. Donation in Peter’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
