Sharon Helen Galbraith passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2025 at Tucker Hall Nursing Home. Sharon was born on June 10, 1945 in Saint John, NB to the late Douglas Rudolph and Annie Alice (Bradley) Seeley.
Sharon will be dearly missed by her son Shawn (Jodi) of Nova Scotia, and daughter Krista of British Columbia, grandchildren; Emma, Rachel and Liam Galbraith, sister-in-law Letah Seeley and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Sharon was predeceased by her siblings; Edmond Shaw (Betty), Lorne Shaw (Virgina), Carroll Seeley (Doris) and Maynard Seeley.
Sharon had a remarkable green thumb, she grew many beautiful flowers as an avid gardener and a proud member of the African Violet Club. In her earlier years, Sharon was an active member of a bowling and crib league. She loved going for drives, each summer she would take the children on a road trip, they often visited Bangor and Toronto. Sharon enjoyed going for walks along the beach and at the Nature Park, she loved the ocean. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, painting, coloring, playing cards and watching the baseball particularly the Blue Jays. However, there was nothing Sharon cherished more than her grandchildren; they were her world.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Sharon’s memory can be made to the Alzhiemer’s Society.
