Obituary of Egberdina Clark
Egberdina Clark passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 at the Kennebec Manor. She was the loving wife of the late Hezekiah David Clark. Egberdina was born on August 26th, 1930 in Assen, Netherlands to the late Johanness and Marchien Stöcker. Egberdina immigrated to Canada after the war and became a Canadian citizen on October 16, 1963. She was very creative; Egberdina enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting, photography and handcrafts. She also loved nature, yard sales and going for drives. Egberdina is predeceased by her parents, husband Hezekiah, son David Clark, brother Harm Stöcker (Katrina) of Groningen, Netherlands and son in law Jeffrey Blakney. She is survived by her daughters; Deanna White (Richard) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, and Mary Blakney of North Lake, NB, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. Keeping with Egberdina’s wishes cremation has taken place. Interment will be held in Woodstock, NB at a later date. Donations in Egberdina’s memory can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com.
