Patricia and Margaret and families Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of your very special mother.Your Mother was a wonderful faith filled woman. She was full of fun, full of charity and a very extraordinary lady. How fortunate you were to call her Mum. Words are so inadequate at times like this but Alma and what she gave to family and those she loved will live on through the generations. The world is a much better place because Alma Crowley Hazel lived. That is just so wonderful.Alma was Christ to so many and this is what we are all called on to do but not all succeed as Alma did. I know Alma now is in the arms of the Lord where there is no more pain and no more suffering.I am sorry I cannot visit you in person but you all truly are in my thoughts and prayers. Eunie McElwaine

Alma came back into my life when I moved back home to Saint John in 2014 , she came to visit , her husband wrote a welcome piece in the newspaper for my business here in West Saint John when his family stayed at FHBB . She brought me jams and chowders . She told me stories of Mom and what a great speaker my Dad was when he was in politics . She brought me travel brochures of Ireland before Karen and I left for our trip . She supported me in my run as a political candidate although her family was conservative . Alma Hazel was my living angel and I will miss her dearly . My deepest condolences to her darling daughters . Patty you really made the right move going home to live with her .

Dear Patricia & Margaret.. I remember your mom with great fondness. Alma, Fred and Mike & Rita shared much laughter and fun times throughout their lives. She was a great hostess, good friend to my parents, story teller and loved to entertain. With admiration she and Rita would strap on their "icers" in cold winter mornings walking the "block" maintaining their fitness and regaling stories. A well known Saint Johner and I'm sure will be sorely missed by many. My deepest condolences to you both and your families. xx Colleen Dunphy
