I'm so sorry to hear of Norma's passing. I first met her in the early 2000's, and enjoyed running into her Uptown...she was everywhere! I enjoyed chatting with her - great stories and her sense of humour was so much fun! RIP, Norma!

I am the office manager at Cherry Brook Zoo and Mrs. Beville was a wonderful supporter of our organization. In the last few years I was able to enjoy her company when I would visit her and bring her Tim bits and coffee and of course Deena was always there by her side. I will truly miss her sense of humor and and her kind heart.

We have known Norma for many years through her volunteering at the Aitken Bicentennial Exhibition Centre, and later the Saint John Arts Centre. She was a great supporter of the Imperial Theatre as well. She loved talking to Bernie and would ask him many questions about the arts in Saint John. We extend sympathies and condolences to her extended family and friends for their loss. She was a lovely lady. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with Norma and all those who knew her. Rest in Peace, Norma, and thank you for your friendship. Most sincerely, Bernie & Elizabeth

Norma, we at The McArther are going to miss you in the front lobby. And of course, Deena the cat. Sorry we never could get your clock to work. Safe travels. It was nice to meet someone in the building that knew my Aunt Gerry and Connie from 7 N. I know you are all together now. Cheers.

I am sorry to hear of Norma’s death. I have many fond memories of conversations in the lobby of the McArthur building. She told me stories of travelling to Fredericton by boat and we talked about our shared love of teaching and our cats. She knew everything that was going on in the building and I always felt like she was looking out for everyone in our McArthur community. She had a dry sense of humour and as my dad would say “she suffered no fools.” Norma will be missed.
