Gary was a true friend, I have incredible memories over the past 40 years plus and as we both had gone through a lot and were always there for one another. My family will miss him immensely, Gary was part of our family, my kids referred him as an uncle and I a brother .We all spend countless memories from camping trips, stories, great laughs and tragedies throughout our lives. All our hearts are broken for the lost of such unselfish, honest and sincere man. Our hearts go out to his family, who he loved dearly. Goodbye old friend, you will be missed for the rest of my life, until we meet again.

Dear Derek and Kathleen----We are SO saddened to learn of your Dad's sudden passing. Our hearts are breaking for you both as well as for your uncles and their families. Your Dad was a kind, gentle man. We enjoyed chatting with him all the years he was our neighbour. After he moved, we ran into him a number of times at either Tim's or at the Petro-Can. He never failed to talk about you both and to remark about how proud of you he was. The love in his eyes and in his words was real. Many hugs to you both.

Our condolences to Derek, Kathleen and all of Gary's family. We will always cherish the memories that were made with Gary when we lived in Shepody back in the 80s. I expect that Gary and Bill are now laughing, telling hunting stories and rehashing all their times together.
