Obituary of Jaclyn Marie Brannen

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jaclyn Marie Brannen (McCaustlin) on December 4, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Adam Wayne Brannen and loving mother of sons; Benjamin Wayne and Noah David. Jaclyn was born on August 22, 1979 to her parents Bernice (Vautour) Allaby and David McCaustlin. In addition to Adam, Ben and Noah, Jaclyn is survived by her parents; Bernice (Ken) Allaby and David (Jill) McCaustlin, sister and best friend; Sarah McCaustlin, brothers; Derek (Angela) McCaustlin, Kris (Jody) McCaustlin, her cherished nephews: Matthew, Hayden, Evan and Ayden and only niece Emma, along with her many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends, father in law; Fred (Colleen) Brannen, mother in law; Marsha Brannen, stepchildren; Kody (Jess), Abigail (Josh) and grand-daughter; Sophia. Jaclyn’s step-siblings were; Sam and Brandy Allaby, and Amy and Jess Dunfield. She is pre-deceased by her grandparents; Bernadette and Auguste Vautour, & Joseph and Dorothy McCaustlin. Jaclyn graduated from St. Malachys High School, and was employed for 20 years at Bell Aliant where she was loved and respected. She was married to the love of her life Adam, who never left her side during her courageous battle with cancer. They enjoyed going for long drives, boating, annual tubing trips, attending her children’s activities football, hockey, soccer, rugby and band concerts, going to movies and most of all, backyard bonfires with family and friends. She loved being home and absolutely adored her children. Jaclyn was instrumental in the 1st ever Multiple Myeloma March in New Brunswick in 2018, in support of her mother. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 8th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Monday, December 9th at 10:30 AM.
