Obituary of Gloria Blanche Clark
It is with great sadness the family of Gloria Blanche (Hamilton) Clark, beloved wife of the late Dick Clark wish to announce her passing on Friday April 9, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born May 6, 1923, at Oak Point, N.B. She was a daughter of the late Herbert A. and Mildred (Carpenter) Hamilton. Gloria worked for the N.B. Protestant Orphanage for a number of Years, then went on to work at the Oak Point Provincial Park for 15 years. She was a long-time member of Oak Point Baptist Church, and a member of the Ladies L.O.B.A for 74 Years. Gloria will be remembered for her love for her family, her kindness and thoughtfulness toward others. Gloria is survived by 4 sons, Timothy (Jeannette) Clark, of Grand Bay, David (Gale) Clark, of Oak Point, N.B., Jean (Philip) Morgan , of Central Greenwich, Melvin ( Lee Anne) Clark, of Oak Point, N.B., Brian ( Nancy) Clark, of Evandale, N.B., 1 sister, Louella Holland, of Thunder Bay, Ont, daughter –in law, Linda Clark, of Fredericton, N.B., 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 2 Step Granddaughters, and 3 Step Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by 2 sons, Raymond Clark and Douglas Clark, 2 grandsons, one granddaughter, one great grandson, two sisters, Barbara Gray and Hazel Campbell, and one brother, Ernest Hamilton. Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. A Graveside service will take place in Oak Point Baptist cemetery in the spring 2021 at a time to be announced. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
