Obituary of Jean Loretta Pearl Dean

Surrounded by her family, Jean Loretta Pearl Dean (Marratt) passed away peacefully at home in Musquash, NB, on November 10th, 2019. Born November 30th, 1962 in Smith Falls, ON., she was the daughter of the late William and Joan (Typhair) Marratt. Jean was an avid hunter, bingo player, and a die-hard Habs fan. She loved the outdoors and playing games with her grand-kids. She had recently developed a zest for travel, making her way across Europe and North America with her family. Jean is survived by her son; Justin (Rosanne), daughter; Robin (Stefan) Hettrick, both of Musquash, NB, brothers; sisters; 6 grand-kids; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Jean was pre-deceased by her husband; “BooBoo” Robyn Dean and baby boy; Kurtis. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held at the Musquash Fire Hall, 35 Malcolm Meehan Rd., Musquash, NB, on Thursday, November 14th from 6 PM to 9 PM and Friday, November 15th from 11 AM to 3 PM. A funeral service will take place from the Fire Hall on Friday, November 15th at 3 PM with a reception to follow. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
