Obituary of Rose Marie Quinn
It is with great sadness but wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Rose Marie Quinn, who died peacefully at Bobby’s Hospice on September 24th 2019. Rose was born on Feb 17th, 1952 in Saint John, NB she was the eldest daughter of the late Fred & Theresa Kierstead. Rose will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend, Brian. They were devoted to each other in marriage for 45 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Elizabeth (Ryan ) & Heather (Derek); her beloved grandchildren; Emma, Molly, Gracie, Brady, Madelyn & Owen; she is also survived by her brother Gary Kierstead; sister Roxanne (Stephen) Beatteay; sister Rosalind Kierstead; brother-in-law Kerry (Isabel) Quinn; sister-in-law Mary K Quinn. Rose’s strength of spirit, creativity and quick wit will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her. Happiest spending time with her grandchildren or away on motorcycle adventures with Brian, she will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew her. The family wishes to recognize the outstanding care Rose received during her stay at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care & Bobby’s Hospice with a special acknowledgement to Laura Lynn Steeves. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M2L3 506-634-1701. In keeping with Rose’s wishes there will be no service at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made in Rose’s memory to Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
