Obituary of Frances McGill
It’s with great sadness with the loving family of Frances McGill, at her side are announcing her passing at Bobby’s Hospice on December 2nd. Born on March 16th 1937 to the late Ernest Edward and Mary Jane (Boyd) Bacon. Frances was a very artistic lady, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and reading in her spare time. Her life was the family, she loved having family gatherings and outings. Frances will be dearly missed by her sons; Hugh McGill of SJ, Bill McGill and his wife Denise of SJ, Trevor McGill and his wife Kim of SJ, and Lee and his wife Krista of SJ, daughter Cathy Dignard and her husband Paul of SJ. Brothers; Kenneth Bacon and his wife Isabella of Cape Breton, and Ernest Bacon predeceased by his wife Heather, and sister Barbara Bishop predeceased by her husband Spencer of Rothesay. Granddaughters; Stacey (Dana), Cori-Lynn, Tara, Tiffany, Trisha (Neil), grandsons; Luke, Ian, Stanley, and Kyle, great- grandchildren; Katie, Brayden, Kayden, and Halle, several nieces and nephews. Frances will also be missed by Cathy Loiser and Linda Kingston which she loved as daughters. She is predeceased by her parents, husband William Timpany McGill, daughter Mary Juanita and grandson William. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 6th from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM- 8:00PM. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, December 7th at 12:00 Noon in the Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
