Obituary of George Wallace

George “Dodo” Wallace passed away peacefully at the age of 81, at the Campobello Lodge on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Born on January 3, 1938 in Randolph, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick and Deana (LeBlanc) Wallace. George grew up in Randolph with a close knit group of dear friends. He will always be remembered for being a lovable person, he was a true gentle “giant” and was such a joy to be around. During the Randolph winters he used to pull the neighborhood kids around on an old car hood that he fashioned into a sled. He is survived by his brother James and his wife Rose Wallace and many nieces and nephews. George is predeceased by his siblings; Frederick Jr, Francis, Raymond, Albert and Theresa. Stacy, George’s nephew would like to thank the Campobello Lodge for their great care and compassion towards George over the years. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 1:00PM in Holy Cross Cemetery.
