Ronnie was born on December 2, 1948 in Saint John, NB to the late Charles and Ella (Shears) Edison. Ronnie started his career at the school board, before going to work for NB Housing in maintenance. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends at Brunswick Square. Ronnie also enjoyed history, storytelling, old movies (anything John Wayne), and a good political debate; he was very passionate about his views. Ronnie was an avid reader and passed that love along to his grandkids by always buying them books. He loved going on shopping trips to Bangor and Calais with Lynda. Ronnie’s family was very important to him, he cherished them all dearly. Ronnie is survived by his spouse Lynda Worden, sons; Robert McSorley (Debbie), Perry McGraw (Tanielle), Ronnie Ryan (Chrissy), Ryan E. Ryan (Tiffany), and Jeremy Edison, daughters; Tanya MacPherson (Joel), Caillee Worden and Rebecca Worden, brothers; Johnny Edison (Diane), Stephen Edison (Marie) and sisters; Colleen Saunders, Donna Edison, Barbara Edison, Dorothy Edison, Kim Edison (Mike), and Diane Edison, grandchildren; Amina, Mahailya, Solomon, Nyah, Isaiah, Colton, Mason, Natalia, Gabriel and Adrian, Shelley Edison mother of Jeremy, Elizabeth McGraw mother of Tanya Perry and baby Ronald, and many nieces and nephews.
