Obituary of Nancy Barbara Nelson

Nancy Barbara Nelson, loving wife of the late William Nelson, passed peacefully on Monday, January 15th 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, in her 81st year. Born on March 10, 1936 to the late Oliver and Marian Burley. Nancy was an avid knitter and reader, she was also a cherished grandmother. Cherished mother of Barbara Nelson of Saint John, Rodger (Ruth) Nelson of Saint John, Kevin (Jill) Nelson of Moncton. Devoted grandmother of Samantha, Kaitlin and Matthew, and great- grandchild Madelyn. She is survived by her sister Sandra (Alvin) Currie of Baywater, NB. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers; Harry and Glendon Burley and sisters; Norma Shannon, Eleanor Belyea and Joan Wilson. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 18th at 1:00PM at the Church of the Good Sheppard. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
