Our condolences to Annette and family on your loss. We were able to catch up with David during a visit to Saint John in 2018 and really enjoyed his company and his insights into many topics of the day. I am sure he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. He was a great classmate at St.F.X. with a wonderfully dry sense of humour. My condolences to all his family.

As a first cousin I have known David over many family visits to our Saint John kin since the early 1960s. David was always a cheery and friendly cousin and fun to be with. I wish we had more time with him to discuss politics, military history and business. He will be missed.

David was a lovely man with a great sense of family and sense of humour. He and my Mum (Jean Marie Jones nee Alexander), his aunt, were very fond of each other. I very much enjoyed getting to know him at the Alexander family reunions.
I am certain David is with the rest of the Alexanders that have gone before him in Heaven and they are welcoming him with love - and probably a party, knowing them.
Once the pandemic is over, all the Alexander cousins should get together to reconnect and raise a glass to David.
Sending love. The whole family are in our prayers.
Martha (nee Jones), Tony, Nicholas and Ian Denning

Deepest condolences to Annette and family from Cathy and I.
David was a lifelong friend.
In high school at St. Macs we were on the chess team together ( he was the captain ), and he was my wing man at the dances at St. Peter's.
Roommates and bridge partners at St. F.X.
Best man at our wedding
Godfather to our son.
And recently excellent photographer at my aunt's 100th birthday celebration.
And in spite of living on opposite coasts managed to get together for lunch most years.
Dave, best friend, you have been taken too early and will be sadly missed.

To all of David’s family, we wish to extend sincere condolences. His wise counsel and low-key observations on a wide range of topics were well-considered, helpful and valued. He was a thoughtful person you could count on who had a gift as a good communicator. To all his family members, we extend our sincere sympathy.
Sincerely, Jane and David Barry
