Obituary of James Richard Foley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of James ‘Jimmy’ Richard Foley announce his sudden passing on Monday, September 6, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Jimmy was born on October 13, 1967, to Rosemarie Foley (Peluso) and late Patrick Foley.

Jimmy was very kindhearted and would do anything for anyone.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters; Laura and Samantha, brothers; David Foley and his wife Kerry, and Patrick Foley, two grandchildren, nieces; Katelynn and Megan Foley, nephews; Anthony and Patrick jr. Foley and John Green who has been like a second ‘father’ to Jimmy his whole life.

Jimmy is predeceased by his father Patrick, and nephew Matthew Foley.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 3:30 PM. Interment will be held later date in Boston, MA. Donations in Jimmy’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
