Obituary of Jeannita Marie LeBlanc
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jeannita Marie LeBlanc.
She passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
She was born on September 5, 1932, in Bouctouche, NB, a daughter of the late Antoine and Zelida LeBlanc.
Jeannita was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was an amazing homemaker and was always ready to serve a home-cooked meal at any time.
Jeannita was faithful to her Lord and a devoted parishioner of the St. Rose of Lima parish. Her unconditional love for her family will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her love and pride, her son Yvon (Jeannette), granddaughters, Michelle, Stephanie (Kyle) Lockhart and her great granddaughters, Claire, Kendall and Dottie.
Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband Vincent, sisters Dorilla and Alida, and brother Aquilla.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ya Mu Special Care Home and the staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital for the amazing care and support given to Jeannita in her time of need.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Spirit Parish, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donation's in Jeannita's memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all of those, 12 and over, attending the Visitation and Funeral Service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID, or proof of medical exemption.
