Obituary of Patricia Helen Roy

It is with great sadness the family of Patricia Helen (Bannister) Roy, widow of the late Hector Joseph Roy wish to announce her passing on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Loch Lomond Village, Maple House.  Patricia was born in Taymouth, N.B. in 1946 to the late Frederick Wilkin and Agnes Ellen (Nicholls) Bannister.

Patricia retired from T.S. Simms after 15 years of service, she was also a short order cook for 20 yrs then went back to school in 1984 studied Sociology, graduating in 1986. Pat was a long time member of the Ladies Auxilliary branch #2 and branch #69.

Patricia is survived by her beloved son, Jeffrey Roy, of Musquash, two brothers, Brian (Susan) Bannister, and William (Lucy) Bannister, both of Saint John, 6 sisters, Margaret (Vance) Smith, of Hamilton, Ontario, Gwendolyn Gillis, of Saint John, Koreen (Paul) O’Brien, of Saint John, Beverley-Jean Cormier, of Saint John, Bonnie Lorraine (Patrick) Duffy, of Saint John, and Catherine Sullivan, of Fredericton, N.B., one granddaughter, Veronica Lynn Roy, and one great grandson, Bentley Ronald Roy, and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Agnes Bannister, and her husband Hector Roy.

Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill ext. Cemetery at a later date.
