Obituary of Carol Joyce Swan
It is with great sadness the family of Carol Joyce Swan, loving wife and Gerald Swan wish to announce her passing on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health.
Born in Woodstock, NB in 1947, Carol was the daughter of the late Jacqueline McNeill.
Carol is survived by two daughters; Beverly (Ken) Stevens-Croxall of Alberta, Angela (Glenn) Swan-Simpkin, one son Andrew (Amanda) Swan, two sisters; Margaret Lavrentiadis, Donna Richard. She leaves behind five grandchildren; Zackary, Jozeph, Gillian, Joseline, Carson and two great-grandchildren; Sierra Rae and Sophia.
Carol is predecased by her mother and step father Wallace McNeill.
Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB (634-1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. At Carol's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Castle Funeral home on Thursday April 7, 2022 from 1pm-4pm, all are welcome. A celebration of Carol's life will be held at Two Rivers United Church, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB at 11am on Friday, April 8th, 2022.
Donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or Bobby's Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.ca
