Obituary of Brenda Lee Taylor
Brenda Taylor (Gibbs) passed away peacefully on May 10, 2022, at Saint John Regional Hospital with family by her side.
Born June 19, 1953, Brenda was a Hairdresser at Lynda’s Salon on the west side for 30 years, retiring in 2016. After Family, she enjoyed Painting; The Harley; Billiards and babysitting her Grand Puppies.
She is survived by her husband Jim of 50 years, daughter Jennifer Milbury (Steve); son Joe (Heather); step granddaughter Jacey Ellingwood of Fredericton; brothers Ray (Janice) of Hammond Plains, NS; Wayne (Norma) of Saint John and several nieces & nephews. And her grandpups Jeepers & Georgie.
Predeceased by her Mother Marie Gibbs (Todd) her Father Bill and sister Carol Cormier (Gibbs)
During the past 6 years, Brenda was so grateful to all those in the Medical Field who cared for her. From support staff to Family Dr. to the Toronto Lung Transplant Team and all those in between, she loved you all. And a special thank you to the unknown lung donor and their family.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 15 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held on Monday, May 16 at 11:00 AM in Castle Fallsview Chapel. The service will be livestreamed through Castle Funeral Home for those unable to attend. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, with a Reception at the Saint John Marina 2050 Westfield Road. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Bobby's Hospice or your charity of choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.ca.
