I was sorry to learn of your Mother’s death in the newspaper. It was through my late mother Catherine (Shepphard) Redstone how I knew of your parents. Your late brother was at Kennebec Manor while my mother was also a patient there on one occasion I had the privilege to meet your father. It was after my mother’s death I talked to your parents on the phone and they were of great comfort to me. It was a few months later your father invited me to attend a family gathering in Birch Ridge which I’ve more than once regretted not attending and meeting more family connections on my mother’s side. Your father sent me an invaluable envelope, he had hand drawn several pages of ancestry helping me fill many connections. Your father even sent me a photo of a small church with a beautiful stained glass window that had been built totally by hand before modern tools were made. Please extend to your families that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Lois ( Redstone) Tucker

Ted, Roger, & Barry:
So sorry to hear of your mums’ passing.
I will always remember her as gentle, kind and very patient with us.
In a time when neighbours were friends in a community that had its church, school, gas stations, general stores, steam trains and lumber mills. How those times have changed!
From my family to yours, please accept our most heart felt condolences.

I would like to extend my condolences to the Lee family. I grew up in South Bay in the 50s and 60s and her Son, Chris, and I were close friends. Many fond memories of Mrs. Lee, she always would share a treat with the neighborhood kids and she was always very kind and understanding.

To all the family of Grace,
I was the Manager of the West Branch library during the years that Grace volunteered at the library. I remember, with joy, those years. Her presence every week lifted the morale of every staff member. She was thoughtful, kind, happy to be with us and we with her. Besides being willing and able to tackle any task asked of her , her own special gifts especially the writing of poetry, delighted us all. It was always a good day when Grace joined us.
I know that my own life will always be enriched having known this beautiful woman for such a short time. I regret having lost touch with her since I retired.
My heartfelt sympathy to all the family and friends who will surely miss her .
Sincerely, Ruth Jackson

Dear Family of your oh so special , Mother ,Grandmother , Great-grandmother ,Aunt ,Grace Lee .
We send our most heartfelt condolences to all of you , we knew someday she would be leaving for her eternal home
Grace has been our faithful friend and neighbour since moving next door to the Lee Family in 1964 .
Before that Mrs .Lee as I called her, until she requested that I call her Grace would come to my parents house, where we lived in the upstairs apt, to have her hair done. I will always treasure the time we had together chatting about what was dear to her heart .Grace would phone if a rare bird was spotted in our area ,we would do the same .
Grace will always be remembered as a kind ,gentle lovely lady .One special memory I must share with you ,as told to me by Grace herself ,how she decided to find her rhubarb patch only to enjoy being in her beloved place of nature ,she had walked too far , along came our English Pointer Joy taking Grace gently by her hand and led her home .
Such a illustration of how our Saviour has been with Grace through her life providing her with the joy of being in her home for so many years , with her faithful sons caring for her with such love and devotion . In later years to realize that August Fifth was also my Mom Jennie Howland's birth date as well .That date we will always remember Grace ,although each day that we look over at her earthly home our heart's will feel a little lonely .
Precious memories how they linger and are treasured sent with our Love and Prayers to comfort all of you her muchf loved and faithful Family .

My sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom. She was the sweetest neighbour growing up. We were always sure to be at her front door at Halloween…she had great treat bags ready. My husband and I years later we’re able to have our kids experience the same. Rest In Peace Mrs. Lee
