Obituary of Robert Mark Cougle
It is with great sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Robert “Mark” Cougle which occurred on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 10, 1948 he was the son of the late Trueman Allingham and Audrey Elizabeth (Calvin) Cougle. Mark was a commercial fisherman who was retired from the railroad. He was an avid outdoorsman and a collector of everything! Mark will be sadly missed by his partner of 31 years Pauline Martin; daughters Jessica (Jeff) Phillips, Emily (Mike Cameron) Cougle; Charlotte (Jade Hogan) Cougle; siblings Carolyn (Gordon) Coburn; Brian (Dawn) Cougle, Barry (Rosa) Cougle; 3 grandchildren Aidan, Colin and Neil Phillips; many family and friends Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday August 20, 2016 at 10:30 am from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Donations in Mark’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
