To the McDonald Family: Though I did not know your family, I did work with Donnie C., as a Correctional Officer. Wanted to offer my condolences, and sympathies to you all at this very difficult time. I'd like to share the following with you: "Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love that you share. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she would want : smile, open your eyes, love and cherish your memories of her and go on”.
