Obituary of Edith Sweet

After a courageous battle with cancer, on January 18, 2011 Edith Sweet passed away at Bobby’s Hope House. She will be remembered by her sons Thomas (Debby) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Jamie (Tammy) of Gondola Point, and Barry of Saint John; Daughter Laurie Sweet of Saint John. Edith will also be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Edith was predeceased by her parents Murray Charles Mabee and Georgina Althea Snodgrass (Dickson); brothers Robert and Charlie Mabee; sisters Colleen Duncan, and Mary “Dolly” Hope. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Friday January 21 from 7 - 9 and Saturday January 22, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Donations in Edith’s memory may be made to the Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice.
