Obituary of Christina "Chris" Sargeant

Christina "Chris" Sargeant of Grand Bay-Westfield passed away peacefully at Saint John Regional Hospital on January 28, 2011. She was born in Saint John on September 5, 1959, the daughter of Stanley and Rose (Lockhart) Lewis. Chris was a very selfless person, during her illness she was very concerned of everyone else around her and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Aside from her parents she will be sadly missed by her husband of 13 years David, children; Matthew, Lisa (Gerald) Smith and grandchildren; Robbie, James, and Kyle. She will also be missed by her sister; Kim Conde, brother; Jeff Lewis, father and mother-in-law; Harold and Alice, sister-in-law; Nancy, nieces; Christy, Stephanie, nephew; Adam and her many dear friends. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. from Grand Bay Baptist Church. Interment will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated. A special thank you to the staff of 5-A South, Oncology Unit, for the special care that they provided for her.
