Obituary of Daryl Perry
Daryl Leslie Perry passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 20, 1941. He was the son of the late Mac and Nina (Searle) Perry. Daryl began his military career as a cadet at Saint John Vocational School. He later went to 722 Comm Squadron. He retired from his career as a Lieutenant Colonel of the 31 Service Battalion. He was an active member of the Knights of Pythias and the Fundy Duplicate Bridge Club. He is survived by his estranged wife, Evelyn; daughter, Crystal (Neil); son, Dana (Tanya); brother, Hugh (Cathy); seven grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Sherrill Ann and Sharleen Rose; step-mother, Nessie (Briggs). Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a reception held at the Fallsview Reception Center following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice
