Obituary of Shelley Ann Durant-Matchett
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Shelley Ann Durant-Matchett on Sunday November 13, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.Born August 24, 1965 Shelley is Survived by her loving wife Debbie Durant-Matchett, mother Margaret Matchett (Spray), her brothers John Matchett, Merrill Matchett Jr and Peter Matchett, Children Jamie Matchett, Tydas Matchett, Sara Depres and Alex Depres, step children Donald Durant and Anthony Durant, Grandchildren Jamye Matchett, Carson Bredeau and Lincoln Bredeau, her dearest friend Diane Williston as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Neices and Nephews. Shelley was predeceased by her father Merrill Matchett Sr, sisters Heather Matchett and Sharon Matchett. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB (634-1701). Keeping with Shelley’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held Friday November 18, 2016 at Portland united Church 50 Newport Crescent, Saint John, New Brunswick at 4pm. Donations in Shelley’s memory can be made to CARMA Cat Rescue. A family service will take place in Miramichi, NB at a later date.
