Obituary of Mary Blanche Bordage
Surrounded by her family Mary Blanche Bordage passed away peacefully on Saturday October 31, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November 22, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Leo and Bertha (Holmes) DesRoches. Mary loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend time with them. She dedicated many years to volunteering with the CNIB and helping those in need. Mary will be sadly missed by loving husband of 35 years Alyre Bordage; sons Daniel (Crystal Ann) Bordage of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Jason (Stacy) Bordage of Hampton, NB; daughters Lynn (Bruce) Jones of Alberta, Lesa (Kevin) Heese of Red Deer, AB, Louise (Will Jason) Belisle of Gatineau, PQ; brothers Eugene (Bonnie) DesRoches of Fredericton, NB and Johnny DesRoches of Vancouver, BC; sisters Theresa LeBlanc and Angela Levesque both of Saint John, NB; Joanne (Rheal) Comeau of Quispamsis, NB, Denise (Bill) DesRoches of Greenwich, NB; grandchildren Crystal Lynn, Natasha, Patricia, Brianne, Liam, Brittany, Jourdan, D.J, Tessa, Isaiah, Sebastian; great-grandchildren Alyssa Lynn and Aurora. Besides her parents Mary was predeceased by 3 sisters and 1 brother.Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with Mary’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church (360 Dufferin Row) on Thursday November 5, 2015 at 12:00noon. Donations in Mary’s memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
