My deepest sympathy to family and friends of Vera. I so wish I could be there to say goodbye to a special lady. If the family could contact me at the Cherry Brook Zoo I have some wonderful pictures of Vera that I would love to share with you. I will miss her so much and she will always be remembered with fondness.
She was not a burden and the time I gave her was a joy to me. She took me in when I had no where to go, as only a mother would. My gratitude has no bounds, for her I would have done (and nearly did do) anything she wanted.
