Obituary of Arthur Gabriel

The death of Arthur Gabriel occurred in Saint John on February 22, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Arthur Joseph and Sadie Louise (Butts) Gabriel. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley (Jordan) Gabriel in 1986. He lived and worked in Toronto for many years, returning to Saint John in 2002. Arthur is survived by his sister Sonja Ann Naves of Saint John and numerous cousins. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption Church at 12:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2011. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
