Obituary of Mary Madore
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary Dillon Black (Smith) Madore which occurred unexpectedly on Friday June 24, 2016 at her home. Born in Cambuslang near Glasgow, Scotland she was the daughter of the late William and Janet (Black) Smith. Mary will be sadly missed by daughters Ann-Marie Madore (Steven Anderson) of Woodstock, NB, Brenda Frigault of Saint John, NB, Beth (Gary) Wilkins of Saint John, NB; and her beloved granddaughters Jessica and Megan Frigault. Mary is also survived by brother John Smith of Stafford, England; Bobby (Jean) Smith of Saint John, NB, Murray (Lyna) Smith of Montreal, QC, sister Jean Raeburn of Saint John, NB ; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Walter Smith and sister Nan, Glasgow, Scotland, and sister Margaret Keating, Saint John, NB. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 2:00pm from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Donations in Mary’s memory can be made to SPCA Animal Rescue or the charity of one’s choice.
