Obituary of Beatrice "Bea" Maxwell
Maxwell, Beatrice “Bea” Vivian (Atkins) Passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 30, 1926 in Saint John, NB. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Viola (Kierstead) Atkins. Loving wife of the late William Robert Maxwell. Bea was a Lab Technician at both the St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Anne (Neil) Lutes, of Moncton; grandsons, Bill (Alison) Lutes and Aaron Lutes, both of Moncton; great grandchild, Nate; nieces and nephews, Sandra (Michael) Clark, Lynn (the late Carl) Dobson and Bill (Bonnie) Atkins. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Jack and Guy; sister, Sylvia, in childhood. Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) there will be no visitation or service, by Bea’s request. Donations, in memory of Bea, may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue League or a charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of 5th floor and 3B South at the Saint John Regional Hospital and Dr. Webb for his many years of care to Bea.
