Obituary of Donald E. Moore

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Donald Edward Moore which occurred on Monday January 9, 2017 at home. Born March 5, 1935 in Halifax, NS. Donald was a life member of Branch #69 Legion serving as the both President, Past President and on several other committees. He was devoted to serving for years in Scouting Troops in Saint John, an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a true family man a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Donald will be forever loved and remembered by loving wife of 34 years Carole (Logan) Moore; children Jeff (Kim) Moore of Ottawa, ON, Julie Moore of Haines Junction, YT, James (Beth) Moore of St. Andrews, NB, Rosalie Leboutiller of Saint John, NB, Marsha (Paul) Lebeau of Ottawa, ON and Joellen (Jim Cochrane) Landry of Sussex, NB; grandchildren Adam, Josh, Ryan, Laura, Matthew, Mason, Noah and Jake; 2 great grandchildren. Donald was predeceased by sister Nancy.Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm. A Legion Tribute service will be held on Friday at 7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 1:00pm.
