Obituary of Louise Guimond

Guimond, Louise Marie (Babineau) Passed away on Monday, July 02, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 26, 1933 in St. Louis-De-Kent, NB. She was the daughter of the late Clement and Marguerite (Vautour) Babineau. Loving wife of the late Luc Guimond. Louise was strong in her Catholic faith and was a member of the Assumption Parish. She retired from Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing and enjoyed going to her trailer in St. Louis-De-Kent. She is survived by her son, Alvin (Barb) Guimond; daughters, Monique Lord, Claire Smith, , Paulette (Carl) Richard and Denise Guimond; nine grandchildren, Kristel, Trever, Jillian, Kayla, Jacqueline, Ashley, Katie, Haylee, Lauren; nine sisters and three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Alice Richard and Cecile, in infancy. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, July 05, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 06, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church . A reception will follow the service at the Assumption Center. Interment to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, at a later date. Donations, in memory of Louise, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society. The family would like to thank Revera Home Care for their support over the past year.
