Obituary of Annie Moore
Moore, Annie Elizabeth It is with profound sadness and regret that we announce the peaceful passing “in her room” on December 24th, 2010 of our beloved mother, Annie “Elizabeth” Moore of Welsford and Nerepis, wife of the late Archie Charles Moore. She was born June 7th, 1930, daughter of the Annie May (Fisher) and William Gordon Sargeson. Mom devoted her life to her family and was immensley proud of their achievements. A woman of strong faith, she was a devoted member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Welsford until its closing. For most of her adult lifeshe belonged to the ACW and was made an honourary life member. A kind and generous soul she was loved by all who had the privelege to know her. She is survived by her only son Gary (Liette Clement) Moore of Douglas, daughters Elizabeth Starkey of Nerepis, and Dawn (Harold) Miner of Titusville, grandchildren; Adam (Dominique Legault) Moore, Alyson (Matt Lally) Moore, Meghan (Adam) Burley, Brianna (Brandon Swan) Starkey and Courtney (Jason) Fleury, brothers; Doug (Marina) Sargeson of Saint John, Allen (Linda) Fox of Zealand, George (Marilyn) Fox of Fredericton, Also Anne Moore and David Ganong, and several nieces and nephews. Beside her husband Archie and parents she was predeceased by an infant sister Evelyn, brother William (Bill) Sargeson, and son-in-law Brian Starkey. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 2 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. from Castle Fallsview Funeral Home Chapel at Immediately following the service, a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. A private family interment in Welsford Community Cemetery will follow. Donations in memory of Elizabeth to the Welsford Community Cemetery Company Ltd., Welsford, N.B.
