Obituary of Pauline E. Redstone
Redstone-Brown (Cassidy) Pauline E. of Saint John, NB passed away on January 19, 2017, wife of the late John Redstone. Born in Maces Bay, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Gertrude (Shaw) Cassidy. Pauline was a school teacher and taught in many local schools, attended UNB and earned her B.A. from St. Thomas University. She taught at Saint John Vocational School from 1959 – 1978 until her retirement.Mrs. Redstone is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Brown) Wallace (Wayne), and one son, Burton Brown (Margaret), granddaughter, Jennifer Brown, sister Ferne Andow, as well as several nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by sisters, Josephine Wood and Grace Corscadden brothers, Merrill Cassidy, Daniel Cassidy, Allison Cassidy. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Castle Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Maces Bay Cemetery in the spring of 2017.For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Maces Bay Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice
