Obituary of Jennifer "JENN" Gallant
Gallant, Jennifer “Jenn” Jean It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Jean Gallant announces her death on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 27, 1985 in Saint John, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Roger Gallant (Jill) and the late Linda (Rogers) Gallant. Jennifer attended Barnhill Memorial School, Harbour View High School and graduated from Simonds High School. In her younger years she enjoyed swimming, boating, biking, drives and walks outside. Her laugh was infectious to all around her. Besides her father, she is survived by her brothers, David Thomas William Gallant (Julie) and Andrew Keith Daniel Gallant (Melanie); nieces, Lauren, Myelle and Reese Gallant; great aunt, Evelyn Speight; uncles and aunts, Medard Savoy, Diane Robichaud, Geraldine Gallant, Carol McMullin, David Rogers, Kathy Rogers, Mark Rogers, Keith Rogers, Mary Ann Mann, as well as several cousins. Besides her mother, Linda she was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, David and Anna Gallant; maternal grandparents, Eldon and Edna Rogers; aunt, Julia; uncle, Eldon (Eldie); cousins, Mary Alanna Rogers, May Gallant and Silas Rogers. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 and Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will be held in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery. There will be a reception at the Assumption Center, following the interment. Donations, in memory of Jennifer, may be made to the IWK or a charity of the donor’s choice.
