Obituary of Mary Patricia Fitzpatrick

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Patricia Fitzpatrick RN, announces her sudden passing which occurred on Friday, December 16, 2016 surrounded by her family at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Mary age 71, of Saint John West, NB, was born on July 12, 1945 in Saint John. She was a daughter of the late Howard Leo and Margaret Sarah (Dowd) Sullivan.Mary is survived by her two children Hugh Gregory Fitzpatrick of Guelph, ON, and Mary Colleen Woodhouse (Paul) of Saint John, NB; one brother Howard Sullivan (Gerita) of Kingston, NB; one sister Colleen Sullivan of Saint John; one granddaughter Kaitlyn Eilish Woodhouse and her husband Dylan Lamy of Montreal, QC, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her parents. Mary proudly graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of nursing and worked at numerous Saint John medical facilities throughout her career, retiring from St. Joseph’s in recent years.We will laugh as we always did at the little jokes we shared together and will live, smile, work and play with the loving strength you always provided.In keeping with Mary’s wishes a private family service was held.
