Obituary of Alma Joyce

JOYCE- The death of Alma T. Joyce occurred at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Lodge, on October 9, 2012 at the age of 97. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Fred J. and Ann (Fitzgerald) Joyce. She was predec eased by her parents, three brothers, Justin, Cecil, and Godfrey (Red), and one sister, Mrs. Edna Gibbons. Alma is survived by four nieces and two nephews, and a number of great nieces and great nephews. Alma retired from the Revenue Canada Agency in the early 1970’s. She enjoyed traveling, golf, and playing cards. She was a life long resident of Saint John West. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster ave. Saint John, visitation will be held on Thursday October 11, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Assumption Church at 12 O’clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
