Obituary of Edward Jolie
Jolie, Edward Theodore “Teddy” Passed away, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, February 01, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 27, 1938, he was the son of Irene Cormier and the late Malcolm Cormier. Teddy was a Longshoreman and worked for the Port of Saint John. He also enjoyed playing cards at the Legion branch #2. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Laura Jolie; daughters, Dianne Crossman and Brenda (Joseph) Briggs; brothers, William (Judy), John (Irene) and Charles (Barbara); sisters, Joan (Bernard) Desmond and Barbara Savoie; grandchildren, Terra (Chris), Corey and Shae-Lynn; great grandchild, Addyson and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, February 02, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, February 03, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 04, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church. Interment will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. Donations, in memory of Teddy, may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
