Obituary of Edgar Corscadden
The death of Mr. Edgar Fraser Corscadden, husband of the late Faye Corscadden, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 18, 2011. Born in Saint John on January 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Alexander and Myrtle (Fisher) Corscadden. Edgar retired after 27 years with the RCAF as a Master Warrant Officer. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Callum, Saint John, his three sons; Larry (Beth) Corscadden, Fredericton, David (Nancy) Corscadden, Edmonton, and Tom (Cyndi) Corscadden, Calgary. Edgar was the proud grandfather to Sean, Laura, Alex, Melissa, Amanda and Holly, great-grandfather to Carter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Edgar was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Faye, one sister Mary Brown, and one brother Ernest Brown. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church, 648 Westmoreland Road. Following the service, a Time of Fellowship will take place in the Church Hall. Interment in Maces Bay Cemetery.
