Obituary of Lena Bastarache

Lena passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 1, 2011. Lena was the wife of the late Edgar Bastarache. Born on April 14, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Jim and Melina LeBlanc. Lena was born on Greenhead Road and lived there for all but a few years after she was first married. Lena will be sadly missed by her son David Bastarache (Joan Gardner) of Saint John and brothers Edward and Leon both of Saint John. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting for close immediate family and friends on Thursday March 3, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church.
