Obituary of Paul Cunningham
Mr. Paul Cunningham passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 2, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 3, 1944, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (Doyle) Cunningham. Paul was a drug and alcohol councillor for addiction services.He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Cunningham; son Brian W. Cunningham (Danielle) of Saint John; daughter Paula L. Shea (Danny) of Saint John; brother Ricky Cunningham (Linda) of Saint John; 5 sisters Barb Woods (Lloyd) of Wellsford, Kay Crawley of Gagetown, Debbie Sherwood (Bob) of Saint John, Joan Crouse (Jack Chown) of Saint John, Anne Muise (Brian) of Saint John. Also survived by his 3 grandchildren, his good friend Bill Wilson who was a founder of AA and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Brian W. Cunningham and his sister Diane in infancy. Visitation will be held from Castle Funeral Home on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Our Lady of Assumption Church on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations made to AA, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
