Dear Fay,I was so sorry to hear of Dwayne's passing. He was such a kind and nice man. I always knew when Dwayne was at the legion as I would hear his voice calling out " Hi Squeaky". He was the one who pinned that name on me. He will certainly be missed by all. Sorry that I won't be able to attend his service as I am still down South, but sending my thoughts and prayers for you and his family during this sad time.Hugs Nancy.

In the time that my family had the privilege of knowing Dwayne, he provided a living example of love. We will miss the genuine interest and compassion that he showed to everyone. We will also miss his sense of humour and the joy we felt in his presence. Through Dwayne, our son Aidan has known what it is like to have an uncle who adored him. My husband Roderick and I both feel a deep sense of gratitude for the time we spent getting to know this honest, gentle and caring man. We will never forget the beautiful way we felt when we spent our vacations with Dwayne. At this sad time, we are comforted by our faith that “love never ends.” Our condolences go out to everyone who loved Dwayne and everyone who was touched by his love.

Dear Family Members, Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear loved one . Losing a loved one can be the most difficult time in a persons life. Are we not truly blessed with the hope our Creator has given us of seeing our loved ones again. His loving comfort from the scriptures brings us much relief and confidence in the blessings of Jehovah's Kingdom. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" ." I hope these scriptures from God's word have brought you some comfort and you will be able to reflect on this wonderful hope when you think of your loved one.https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no3-2016-may/

Dwayne was a great blessing to us. On my visit home in August for my 70th birthday, he and Fay were so kind to take us for a meal to Grannan's and then, going the extra mile as he always did, Dwayne brought fresh Lorneville lobster to our hotel. We will surely miss him when visit again. But we'll see him in Heaven one day. God bless you, Fay. You are an amazing lady. We love you and honor you.

Eddie and I so loved and appreciated Dwayne, as well as Fay. I remember how he was so kind. On my 70th birthday, I wanted to visit home (Saint John) and while we were there, Dwayne bought, cooked, and shelled lobster for that special occasion.

Each time we would visit with Dwayne and Fay during his last weeks ... when leaving he would take my hand and say " if I don't see you here again I will see you in heaven". and I would say... "you bet"! Dwayne was an amazing man and truly was one of the most genuine people that I knew. RIP my dear friend... your journey here is completed but your new life in Christ has just begun.
