I just wanted to let you all know that you are in my thoughts and prayers today as you lay Dick to rest. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Dick over the last several years when he and Joyce visited Karen and Gordie in Nova Scotia. I quickly discovered that Dick had a huge heart and reserved a special place for Karen within his heart. Whenever he spoke of Karen, there would be an instant smile and twinkle in his eye. It was magical. He was a gentleman and a "gentle man". I am sure that love and care extended to all of his family. I did not see Dick during his declining health. I am sure that it was very difficult, but I hope you can take comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering. Sincerely, Mike
