Obituary of Helen Lawson

The death of Helen F. Lawson, wife of the late Richard E. Lawson occurred at her residence on Friday March 16, 2012. Born on April 29, 1930 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late James and Ethelyn (Brown) Meisner. Helen is survived by her daughter Cathy (Jim) Hawkins; grandson Kevin (April); granddaughter Krystal Hawkins (Cory); great granddaughters Keisha, Kayla, and Kara; niece Debra Meisner, and nephew James (Patti) Meisner. She will also be missed by other extended family members and friends. Helen was also predeceased by her brother Delbert, and her sister Dorothy. Helen was born and grew up in Saint John West, She worked at Irving Oil as a Key Punch Operator until her retirement in 1993. She loved her family and always put them first, her love and generosity will be missed. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Monday March 19, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery and a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in Helen’s name may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
