Frank, Dorthy, George, Sandra, Bill, Avis & the entire Jennings Family immediate AND extended...This news took me totally off guard. What can we say about our dear Marlene through the years. She was cherished! She kept us on our toes as we never knew what her comment might be in any given situation. She shot from the hip and we were kept in stitches. I can remember Dot saying "Now Marlene". She loved when someone remembered to bring back her favourite beverage from PQ. Hah! She was such an integral part of the fabric of my childhood and of Beaconsfield - the best doggone street on the Westside...heck the entire City! Papa doted on her and she loved him so. Can imagine the reunion! I had no idea that she was in declining health as we lost touch with many since we relocated here 10 years ago this Fall. We all have all moved away from our beloved neighbourhood save Greg, I think. We had the best of times. We were family! We had each other's backs. Heck, I was the little freckled-face redheaded kid who was named after Anne aka "Nan" What memories! So sorry we have had to say "Good-bye" to so many way too soon. Marlene has a special place in one of "the mansions", I'm sure or she will let HIM know about it! Hah! Blessings from Stephen and me. Sharing joys and sorrows alike...Anne Marie (McNally) Kingston.

George, Marlene's life and world was certainly enriched by Karyn and yourself; even when you became challenged yourself, you always made Marlene one of your TOP priorities. FAMILY personified comes to mind! May God grant her a swift journey home where she will find her Mom & dad, her sister & brother and sister-in-law karyn waiting to welcome her with open arms.God Bless!
