Obituary of Randolph Corcoran
Corcoran, Randolph Bruce The death of Randy Corcoran, of Saint John West occurred on February 17, 2011. Born in Sussex, on May 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Ralph and Lorna (Coggins) Corcoran. Randy graduated from Cambridge Rural High School as class valedictorian in 1966 and went on to graduate from Saint John Technical School. He was a proud member of IBEW Local 502 as an electrician and welder. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. Randy loved his dogs, of which he had many. He was also a member of the Jemseg Lions Club for many years. He is survived by his wife Corinne, sons Adam Corcoran of Jemseg, Mathew (Elizabeth) Corcoran of Indonesia, step-daughters Julie Silliphant (Troy Wiggins) of Ottawa, and Janice Baird of Saint John, 2 sisters Ginny (Owen) Abbott, of Saint John and Sharon Corcoran (Orland Dickson) of Truro, two grandchildren Jacob Joseph Corcoran, and Justin Baird, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts and uncles. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701). Visiting will take place on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 pm. The funeral service will take place from Fallsview Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes association or the Animal Rescue League would be appreciated by his family.
