Obituary of Marion Webb
Webb, Marion Lorraine The unexpected death of Marion occurred at her residence on March 2, 2012. Born on November 18, 1956 in Chatham, N.B., she lived most of her life in Saint John. She leaves behind the “love of her life”, her daughter Shanae Webb. She is survived by both parents, Douglas Webb of Hampstead, N.B. and Muriel (Machum) Wark of Rothesay, N.B. Also, her brother Steven (Karen) Webb in Fort McMurray, Alberta and sister Crystal (Darrell) Armstrong, of Rothesay; step sister Valerie (Edward) Paquet, of Quispamsis; step brothers Greg (Tara) Wark, of Lindsay and Robert (Claudette) Wark, of Hunter Lake. She will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers. Marion was predeceased by her stepfather, Al Wark. Marion graduated from Saint John High School and obtained her B. Sc Degree from Acadia University. This included a year of studies in Lausanne, Switzerland to pursue her goal of bilingualism. She was an accomplished pianist and an active member of toastmasters. Her hobbies included gardening, dancing and caring for the many pets at her home. She has been an employee of Revenue Canada since 1985. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at Castle “ Fallsview” Chapel 2 p.m. The interment will follow at Cedarhill Cemetery, and reception at Castle Fallsview Reception Center. Donations in Marion’s name may be made to charity of one’s choice.
