Obituary of Douglas Addison

It is with great sadness the family of Douglas Leroy Addison announce his sudden passing on March 15, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Doug was born on July 20, 1943 to the late Leroy and Dorothy Addison. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Ann (Flowers) Addison; daughters Barb Perry and Susan (Marcel) Goulard; sister Liz (Bruce) Edmunds; grandchildren and great grandchild. Doug worked for Atlantic Towing for 30 years and was a faithful member of River Cross Church. In his retirement he loved his daily walks with Betty and loved to do wood carvings. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Friday March 17, 2017 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A Celebration of Douglas’s life will be held from River Cross Church (61 Forbes Drive, Saint John, NB) on Saturday March 18, 2017 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Reception will be held at River Cross Church. Donations in Doug’s memory can be made to River Cross Church or the charity of one’s choice.
